Yeah I can't do it. Good for him individually, as I can't be mad. But he would be the highest paid player right now from a team standpoint. I need Beal and Booker's agent :D

Also need to know how much owners are clearing annually. $3-5 plus Billion total?

The Rockets war chest of picks just skyrocketed in value.

You could say the same thing about 20 or so, maybe more NBA 2 guards.

They can keep him. They can sign KD to a max too.

Committing that much money to a fringe Top 20 player in an incredibly competitive conference is quite stupid.

With the fact that he is by far their best avenue for getting out of the sh*thole they’ve put themselves in, it is beyond idiotic and I believe it does help us unless they get an unexpected great return for Durant. Of course, maybe Dallas will trade them Flagg for Durant. It would propel them into contention for about 5 games.

Idk how hungry Booker is to win, but all those M’s will wash away the L’s for sure

Suns fans act like Booker is a greater Sun than Steve Nash

They are just desperate, just like some Harden fans were.

Yeah if I had $75 Million a season I'd be Wizards Beal scoring 30 and also a tank commander.

I think it's because Phoenix drafted Booker at 19 years old at 13th in the draft, saw him become a star and get to the finals.

It's like if we drafted Amen as a sleeper, he becomes a perennial all star and we have a finals appearance. I think their bias is blinding and strong at this point perhaps.

Booker will likely prevent those picks from ever cratering all the way. In a year they’ll have cleaner books and can build a nice team. I really don’t think the gamble to short the suns over the Nets will pay off. Harden trade will continue on but the return really won’t be that outstanding when it’s all said and done. Likely no star level player as a direct result vs circumstance. It’s too bad they couldn’t have done the deal where they ended up with Halliburton and the Kings ended up with Simmons that was discussed

they don’t have to crater all the way. With the flat lotto odds all you have to do is finish semi badly and we let the lotto gods work their magic. Hello Dallas. Hello Atlanta last yr. Hello the nets pick we used to draft Reed.

That’s fair and it does depend how they build around him but personally i hope the rockets find a way to cash in on him. He would fit like a glove next to Amen and Sengun long term. All of their picks back + Jalen + Cam + Jock + Holiday works financially and it allows the Rockets to have a true first option on offense and allows the Suns to tank

Totally agree with you. I doubt Booker will be available this offseason, but he would probably be my top trade target. However, that insane $70 mil per yr extension would certainly give me pause. He wasn’t even a top 20 player this past season.

Yea that extension makes it basically impossible to trade for. I do think he has another gear in the right system and may even have an MVP level year in him.
