BOB as a coach wasn't that bad. BOB as a GM was the worst thing that could have ever happened to us.

    No he was dogsht.

U wanted an example of his incompetence, the chiefs playoff game where he blew what was it 3 tds in a quarter? He should have been fired after that game.

Our team had talent, but got blown out during the playoffs. Instead of firing BoB ass, front office promoted him. BoB mad with power got rid of Hopkins for jack sht, which led us to this moment.

That is one example. But he also took hoyer and osweiler to the playoffs. Yes he was atrocious in the chiefs game.

Taking hoyer and osweiler? He fking choose dem as his starting qb, he only had himself to blame.

Our team was quite talented after Kubiak's firing. All we mainly need was a qb. Literally during hoyer and oswieler years our sht coach would call the shttiest play and have defense bail us out. Coupled with the fact that we were in one of the weakest division.

BoB is basically the nfl version of Kevin McHale. Dogsht coach, but had a superstar mask their incompetence.
U fire people on recent results. And after that sht show of him coaching during the chiefs game, Any logical person would fire his ass, not promoted them.

If he's as decent as u paint him to be, man should have easily found another job as a hc.

loo you guys are getting soo mad over nothing. I hate Bill O'Brien. He ruined the team, I wanted him fired more than anything.

I was just saying when he first got here before his ego got in the way he wasn't that bad of a coach. His biggest weakness was end of the game clock management which I thought over time he would get better but somehow he got worse. Maybe it was just too much responsibility because as he got more power his coaching got worse as well.

The minute he said (after the Chief's game) that he kicked a FG from the Chief's 13 with a 21-0 lead because he didn't have a play call for 4th and 1, he should have been fired.

Top 5 26 year old QBs are basically priceless. There a multitude of teams that haven’t had an All Pro QB in decades. You could argue he is worth 10 FRPs but it wouldn’t happen.

Holy moly some of you guys are going to be in for the mother of all let downs. This report was from the draft. The latest report had a team offering ONE first rouner and another conditional first rounder. Heck of a swing there.

    FIVE FIRST ROUND PICKS!?!?

Right, I would be happy with 3 firsts and some 2s or young players

Exactly. A franchise qb like Watson is priceless. Even if they traded him for 10 first round picks, I would still feel like we got fleeced.

I understand the Texan fan zeal and all that, but Im not a Caserio worshipper just yet. He's done a bang up job so far - it was no easy task, but his exaltations will begin after a few seasons for me, not a few months.

Deshaun wont be raising his value sitting all year. At some point loss mitigation has to step in. 3 firsts and 3 thirds was a great return - people wanting more than that are greedy IMO.

I would assume the Texans thought they could work it out with him still so they didn't take the deal.

It would still be in his best interest to stay in Houston.

If the rumor is true we passed on three 1sts and three 3rds I'd be disappointed. That's solid return and jumpstarts the rebuild instead of putting it off another year. We may end up with more later on, but time is money, too. Plus the specter of the sphincter is just annoying.
