Watson has no trade clause, so he gets to dictate right? Isn’t the most likely scenario where he tells the Texans, trade me to team X (say Miami), I’ll approve and you can tell team X that I will settle all the litigation so it’s not a distraction when I arrive.

watson gets dealt, team X doesn’t have to deal with this long term, league does some suspension, and then it’s over.

Not necessarily. Texans don’t have to deal him at all. No reason at all to settle for a **** return.

i agree, but watson agreeing to settle all the civil suits increases the return, so they can pull the trigger. Watson wants out, and they want to deal for max value, so that is one area where he and the texans are aligned.

Yeah, I get what you’re saying. Maybe it could happen but not sure it’s that easy to just settle.

It is. All depends on how much. The criminal complaints are a different story though.

Seriously…losers can’t be choosers. This joker needs to help the Texans help him and waive his no trade. I have never hated an athlete more than I hate this fool.

The Texans need to get whatever they can for Watson. This thing isn’t ending anytime soon and again I would bet on him not playing anytime soon

Doesn't work like that. Texans would have his rights in literally any scenario. Jail, retirement, whatever.

Yeah the Texans need to dump him ASAP, possibly cut him if necessary. He is a distraction from our Super Bowl aspirations for this year, and we can't have him poisoning the next Dan Marino → Davis Mills. Just look at Mills' upside, I'm salivating.

The reality is the Texans aren't winning anytime soon.

So, no rush would be the logical conclusion.... right?

Texans should cut Mills and sign Reid Sinnet. This kid looks good for Miami. He could start for us. He probably won't make their roster.

Would be funny if as soon as the Texans trade him he settles the civil suits making sure the Texans get less in return.

Yeah, he seems like the type that would do something shady like that.

Um...Miami is going to insist he settle. Don't be surprised. Watson is not the person we thought he was. That said, I still want him for the Texans' QB.

This seems like a very plausible scenario. That’s why it’s important for Caserio to focus solely on getting max value. No point in settling on a trade at this point.

Then Watson can rot on the bench. No way in hell he gets to dictate where he goes and at same time try to protect the team he’s being traded to by lowering his value.
He really is a trash individual. **** that guy

3 first is the minimum regardless of anything…the 2 seconds can be performance based but at minimum we will get 3 first round picks.

And I hope we get the first round picks 3 years in a row and not all in same year. Not sure how Miami picks are situated.
