How do you feel about this if you are a massage therapist that works for the Cleveland Browns?

 

Given the timing I wonder if the settlements were part of his agreed upon league punishment.

In a manner where they don’t give guys long suspensions if they aren’t in trouble with the law.

 

6 games seems fair considering there was no conviction and everything was settled in the civil case. This should give Watson and the Browns a majority of the season to play together likely leading them to the playoffs. Watson will have to shake off some rust so most likely no Super Bowl this year, but I can certainly see them going over the next few years.

Yes it is. Folks want things like year long suspensions. When have they done that when no one is in trouble with the law, aside from drug cases.

That is correct. But…….NFLPA will sue if he goes higher

 

There has never been a case like Watsons either. This is going to turn into a big deal for the NFL. They had a chance to take a stance (still do)

 

If that's the case then there's nothing stopping the NFLPA from suing to reduce it down from 6 games.
