Watson has now missed 36 game since 2021. He'll be 29 next September. This really does feel like we're on the other side of the hill with him.

And that means the Texans have roots in quite possibly the two worst NFL trades in the past 25 years - and possibly, one day, of all-time: 1) the Watson deal, in which they fleeced Cleveland for a broken-down version of Deshaun; 2) the Bryce Young deal, which could very well cripple Carolina, and certainly gifted us CJ Stroud.

ETA: THREE! I totally forgot - and rightly so - about the DHOP trade. So the three worst NFL trades in the past 25 years all have ties to the Texans, who haven't even been around 25 years.

As of now, we have the 4th easiest schedule for the rest of the season, but Cleveland is right there at 14. Cleveland still gets to play shitty teams like the Rams, Jets, Broncos, and da Bears.

I think both us and Arizona are going to have picks in the 20s when the season ends.

 

I've said it before...I don't root for athletes to be injured, but there are cases when I certainly don't feel at all bad when it happens.
