They’re choosing to not put him back in right now. There’s more to these last few weeks than a minor shoulder injury. I do believe it will come out at some point (especially if the Browns lose some winnable games).

Basically… but they did have a guy open downfield that Walker was too late to realize, and then threw a wildly inaccurate deep ball. Still boils down to QB play/execution.
They have an all world defense that is ready to win now… and are reluctant to play a QB that literally would be responsible for their entire salary cap if cut. Their season, and future seasons for the time being, have already fallen apart…
Walker actually completing this comeback would be much worse for Deshaun and their situation. Cleveland fans are already ready to anoint Walker, especially if Watson doesn’t want to play the tough sport of football.
