He had 1 more TD in his first 4 games and 4 interceptions. Not even close. Besides, it wasn't only Watson's off the field character that was so toxic. The dude got a big ole ego and just quit on us 2 months after signing a big contract. I thank him now. Now that he's gone for good. If it wasn't for him we wouldn't have the better man as our new leader of this team, and I see us going further than Watson ever took us his 4 years.

You have to look at Watson’s first 4 starts. Jags game doesn’t count because he came off the bench. Bengals,Pats, Titans and Chiefs were his 4 starts. 11 tds 3 ints.

Don't care. I really can't stress that enough. I'm so glad he's gone. I cheered when we rid ourselves of that man. In fact, I have so much higher expectations with CJ than Watson.

They were both 2-2 in their first 4 starts then. Wins are what matters.

Texans got very lucky to get Stroud within 2 season of trading Watson.

Franchise level QB’s aren’t easy to find, much less replace.

This. When Watson left I thought it would take another 20 years to find a franchise qb

By game 4 the only spark we saw was going toe to toe with Brady and the Pats in a 33-30 loss. But then he went nuts and had the 5 TD game against the t*** and got in a SHOOTOUT with prime Russell Wilson but that was also a loss.

They aren't as hard to find as some make it out to be.

Caleb Williams/Sanders/Maye and I'm thinking Maye/Ewers all have franchise QB potential.

I’m betting this list gets whittled down to 1-2 by the end of the season when the microscopes come out lol.
Doesn’t look like any of our first round picks next year will be early enough to get them… but hey, we got more butts in seats I guess.

I’d say 8.. give or take? 5-6 in the AFC and 2-3 in the NFC.

    afc
    Jackson
    Mahomes
    Burrow
    Allen
    Herbert

    tua?

    nfc
    Hurts
    Prescott

    Purdy?

I agree. I think it’s really not easy to find one. I’m 49 and I can think of more than one franchise who has never had even one in my entire life.

I barely follow the NFL but Prescott? He is league average at best

League Average is the Cowgirls version of a franchise QB.

Key word, "potential". People thought the same thing about, RG3, Winston, Mariota, Bradford, Mayfield, Darnold, Trubisky, Wentz, Sanchez, Jamarcus Russell, and a dozen other guys drafted high in the last 30 years or so who didn't amount to much in the pros.

    I would say around 9-10.

Then there are guys like Goff, Dak, Love, Watson, Stafford , Jimmy G, Geno, Wilson who it's debatable whether they're franchise QBs.

Deshaun is showing his QUIT tolerance. AGAIN.

Casserio is still looking like a genius for the Browns Trade.
