I'm glad that jerk Watson got called on those two face mask penalties and the dirty jerk he is got caught.
Great news and with Chubb out that Browns pick may become a top 10 pick. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy. Lol
Freakman looked like he just had a lot of rust at the end of last season. Now, I think that might just be who he is now. Without getting his regular bum rubs(as far as we know) he looks like a bad QB. And while I do feel bad for Chubb, having the Browns pick seems like a great thing right now
Will be interesting to see how this all plays out. As I said, there's a definite scenario where the Texans walk away from this with a huge smile on their face. Saved face getting rid of the guy. Cut bait on a probable average quarterback, before tying too much money on him. And then, ended up with a better QB. Not saying this is what happened, but it's very possible. Would be best case scenario, because in the NFL, hitching yourself to an average quarterback lands you in mediocrity purgatory.
The Browns have a really good overall team. Losing Chubb will hurt them bad, but I still see them being playoff contenders. Pittsburg’s defense is nothing to be sneezed at. They should look to trade some of next year’s draft for a journeyman QB like Keenum or the Mustache.
If Watson keeps looking washed that pick will be top 10. No run game plus bad QB play is recipe for disaster no matter how good your defense is.
He will have to be terribly bad and I’m not sure that will be the case. They’ve built quite a cast of supporting players around him. Good OL, decent WR and TE, and maybe the best defensive line in the NFL. Unfortunately, I think Watson will improve and Ford showed he can feel in admirably behind that OL line. Hope they suck, but think they will be competitive in every game. They are going to win some close ones and lose some close ones. Without Chubb, I’m predicting 7-10 wins depending on Watson’s improvement.
Watson has looked washed going on 8 games in a row. I think he's done. Even with Chubb requiring so much attention he never exhibited the "it" factor and now with him gone DCs are going to pin their ears back. We'll see how he responds I'd be surprised to see anything more than what he's shown as a Brown so far.
And I think their head coach might very well be a moron, as well. Outside of Chubb doing awesome Chubb things, that offense has been awful under Stefanski.
I love to check on this thread from time to time to see the bashing of this POS..........I dont wish him to get hurt, I just want him to suck, the dude is more of an Instagram influencer these days then a bona fide elite QB, I am sure he will have his ups and downs but here`s to hoping the downs are very, very low and the highs are not that great.............................oh yea, the unis they (Browns) were wearing Monday night SUCK
