I hope we trade him. If we get a decent enough haul for him , we can actually (along with us being bad again + our high picks this year ) build a team . I think the NFL model of drafting a QB is getting competition from FA QB’s . Manning , Brady , Stafford ... seems like a veteran moving teams to one set up for him is becoming more common . Houston can be a FA destination if we have a good enough core . The city went football crazy in 2010-12 when we had guys other than the QB . QB QB QB is all anyone ever talks about . But to win and build a winning organization you have to accurately evaluate and get other positions . trading Watson just gives us a bunch of ammo in the draft to both build a good offense and defense and take a shot on a QB.
I agree BUT since the other suitors are in the same division, it could force ATL to pony up a bit more to get in the convo.
Every single conversation Caserio is having with the current suitors needs to be framed as, "DW likes you guys, but your offer has been beaten by the other teams. Give us a little more, and Watson is yours." Doesn't mean it will work, but that's the way this thing needs to be going right now.
The good ole boys who run the nfl, have got to hate deshaun Watson for flexing his power and having all these nfl teams bend to his will. In their eyes this type of power is reserved for Peyton and Brady in their eyes
Dude, you’re weird as ****. Watson has no power here except the little he’s allowed to have. The Texans could ruin his career. Probably should. But then you and the other fan girls would get your panties all twisted up.
John McClain needs to come out and say that he believes the Saints are the favorite to ensure that Deshaun doesn't go there...
