Not buying that the Giants are content with Daniel Jones moving forward as the starter for a second. He may be “back” with the team next year. But I fully expect them to be in the mix for Russel Wilson and Deshaun
Getting down to the heart of the matter, Who really wants to see Watson succeed at his next destination?
Honestly never really paid attention to it because I was just so damn happy and glad we drafted Watson and that we finally had a franchise QB…. But now looking at it Watson is really all about himself and typical Me Me Me guy don’t mean he isn’t an all pro QB that’s just the type of guy he is. Seems like he just cares about his brand and business interest and other extra curricular activities more then he does about actual football and team first mentality. Just my opinion looking outside in now.
What a disappointing year for the Browns. So much hype the past two years. Baker couldn’t get it done. The positive news for the Texans and their fans- as long as Deshaun handles his legal situation and buys his way out of the mess he created- there is going to be a huge market for Deshaun. Maybe Miami Pittsburgh Carolina Cleveland Atlanta New Orleans Philadelphia Washington New York Giants(probably the package I’d want the most) Raiders Broncos ^^^ all are likely to have some level of interest. We know that the more interested teams there are, the more the price goes up. Ultimately, Deshaun has to approve a trade- but there is no doubt if the legal situation gets handled, Nick’s phone will be ringing non stop.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Stephen Ross basically told Watson “we’re gonna come get you this off-season after the legal stuff is settled” when they spoke right before the trade deadline. Best case scenario is Watson pretends to be open to other locations and drives up the price for Miami…but at this point I doubt he will even do that much for the Texans.
If that’s indeed the case, it may very well come down to Deshaun saying he will only accept a trade to Miami. ( with the intent of keeping the price DOWN) with Caserio threatening to keep Deshaun on the bench/force him to play, until Miami pays what he wants.

Maybe the Texans will get him his coach and he will stay but I would be shocked. He is gone. Only suspense is will he sit until his contract runs out or will he be traded
