That works. I guess I'm a little intrigued to see what Pep could do with CMC. I know he's highest paid RB and injury prone, but he's only 25 and damn when he's going he's one of the most exciting players in the game.
Guys DW4 has a NO TRADE CLAUSE. From the information I've read during this ordeal, all along he has turned down Philly and Carolina. He only wanted to go to Miami or Denver. Denver is now out! Think of it like this. Organizations/ Teams can have interest ALL DAY but if at the end of the day he says, I don't want to go there.....He is not going! NOT MINNESOTA NOR SEATTLE, ESPECIALLY CAROLINA! If he is not charged or found guilty of any charges and after hearing everything from his agent, QB coach, etc. I think he is coming back to Houston. I know some people don't want to believe or hear it but it's a real possibility. I think if a trade is to be made, look for Carolina to trade for the #3 pick to secure Willis.
Denver is out, Miami is out and he wants out of Houston. He turned down Philly and Carolina because he wanted Miami. So his options are accept a trade to a team willing to take him or retire.
Who says what team Watson wants to go to? How do you know he rejected teams? Watson has never said a word. His agent has never said a word publicly. Social media speculation is just that. Watson will go were the Texans trade him if he wants to play. Or, he sits and this gets UGLY. Texans can suspend him without pay. At some point, Caserio will play hardball. Watson will accept Carolina if that is where the Texans think they will get the best return. It will probably be between Seattle and Carolina.
If CMC is healthy he’s the best back in the league and one of the most explosive guys in the league. If you could guarantee health I’d take him. I just think for this team his value is for the picks, because his health isn’t guaranteed
I like the idea of getting the ball in his hands 10-12 times a game…like the way the 49ers use Samuel. CMC does not need to be a 3 down running back to be effective. Put him in the slot, put him in the backfield, put him out wide, etc.
True. He nor his agent has said a word. Nor did he say publicly that he wants to be traded, so none of us know.
