Teams always value current picks more than future picks because you know the current draft class and what positions you get vs the uncertainty of where future picks will land - that's why trading for a 2nd round pick this year might cost a 1st round pick next year for example. So if Houston wanted to ask Philly to spread the picks out over a few years, Philly would jump at that - it's not an issue with a trade with Philly.
We should get 5 draft picks, nothing less… if they can justify selling used F150 trucks for $50k plus then we need max value
Caserio is my hero but he needs to take the word “again” out of his vocabulary, -joking but he would come across so much better on radio interviews
Texans are lucking out a bit, too. Carolina was 3-0 after the first few games and the Dolphins weren't terrible yet, either. Darnold and Tua could have both found consistency, but one is clearly not the long-term answer and both of them just can't stay healthy. Now, half the season is basically over and those two franchises are extremely QB-needy. If the Texans' timing is good, maybe a franchise out there will offer up even more than what they offered at this season's trade deadline. Especially since Watson's legal stuff should be better by the time trades are about to be conducted.
Also uses “right” a lot which bothers me. Not his fault but that’s not one of the words I’d be using a lot at this juncture.
Deshaun personal QB coach. He’s the QB coach to a few QBs in the league, total douchebag and a tad bigoted.
If I'm the Texans, I would hold onto Watson until his contract is up. Let Watsons next game come at 30 years old.
For sure, not like they know how to spend the money. I'm sure every player in the league will hate the Texans for holding him hostage, but I would never let a player choose where they want to go.
