You have clownish Falcons people saying giving up Terrell is too much along with 3 FRPs. These jerkoffs want Watson for Terrell + 1 FRP. GTFOH.

Falcons improved from 4 to 7 wins in Arthur Smith’s first year and looks like they’ll be keeping Pitts who is an absolute stud. Don’t think he is seat is remotely warm at all.

Not to mention Carolina and Saints don’t have a QB’s.

It is funny to visit the two boards.

Falcons fans: “If we’re trading Terrell, we should only give up one FRP!”

This board: “Terrell and 3 FRPs isn’t enough!”

As always, the truth is probably somewhere in between.

Carolina and the Saints didn’t have much in the QB department last year… and the Falcons were topping out as a 7 win team prior as well.

I wouldn’t say they’re “improving”… more like running in place without much resources to get better if this trade goes through. As most Texans fans should be well aware of, this is NFL purgatory.

It also isn’t as if Matt Ryan was horrible. He’s certainly past his prime, but the improvement from him to Watson is marginal when you take into account the cap hit and loss of picks.

inside info? I had heard Terrell, three 1sts and other draft compensation was already informally agreed to before Atl started talking to DW. Assuming Jones is Dion Jones?

I’ll say this: If we land Terrell AND three FRPs, I don’t care what else we get, I’m doing backflips.

This is a 15 year move. Everything you're citing is short term...

Best case scenario is the are in the 2nd tier of the NFC behind Rams, Bucs, Packers.

Niners, Cards, Cowboys, Redskins, Vikings are all as good or better than them...and like Nick said Ryan hasn't been a bad qb these past 2 seasons.

And with no 1st round picks the next few season and alot of teams with cap space next year it's not going to be easy for them to build a competitive, balanced roster.

makes sense. And even though he’s grossly overpayed at $14 mil in 2022, we have the cap space and he’s only $5 mil in dead money if we have to cut him next year. He’s still a very solid LB.

Yup...Terrell is effectively a proven 1st round pick. Makes him even more valuable.

He is a sexual predator. He has had 22 women come forward. He shot his **** all over women. He is creepy and disgusting.

If you are okay with that, it says a lot about you.

    Just deal with it.

Based on this off-season you can't count on players sticking around 5 seasons let alone 15.

Matt Ryan will be done long before the Texans are good.

I know everyone wants to keep Terrell but I would try to move him for a kings ransom of draft picks to rebuild.

We still don't have a QB but hopefully the new regime at Reliant drafts better than the previous one.

I am not sure the Texans would go this route, but they ought to consider the old Belichick route of trading a #1 this year for 2 #1's in the future.
