Watson’s ability to anticipate throws has increased dramatically. This team isn’t far from a super bowl caliber roster.

Those 0 points in the second half were the same number of points Herbert put up in the second half of his game. That's the bottom line. The team including Watson screwed up in the biggest moments. Hopefully Watson learns from this.

What’s funny/sad is Deshaun didn’t have all that great of a game, yet still dragged this team to inside the 5 with a chance to win the game. You’re never out of a game with an ELITE QB, which there’s really no argument against Deshaun being elite
This has been a throw away season for some time now. The only good thing looking forward to next season is we will have a somewhat easier schedule. Whoever comes in has a lot of work to do. Usually teams are trying to build up their roster until they find that elite QB. We are the opposite at the moment, we have the elite QB but now we need the team around him
Watson is being put in 3rd and longs too much like he doesn’t have a good run game and that’s malpractice O’Brien really destroyed this roster choosing players he liked over talent that man should never coach in the nfl again

Herbert is a rookie (with best rookie season of all time at this point), Watson is a 40 mil annual QB. Expectations should be different
