I've only played with some of you guys only 1-3 times but: Moestavern19 - Aggressive player, he's a freight train when he drives to the basket and has a reliable jump shot. Has a good size so his screens are effective. Good defender too, given his aggressiveness and size. Kam - Streaky shooter, knows how to cut and set screens. Good on D too as he appears out of no where and blocks the ball. CCR - Definitely the best one out of all the clutchfans I've played with even though I've only played with him once. Good shooter and drives to the basket really well. Agree on the Ray Allen comparison. macalu - Gigantic ass point guard, can shoot the jumper but definitely opts to pass more so than to score. Likes to set up the post player with his entry passes, which he tries to get fancy with sometimes.
Yes, it does... But if you're playing in the league with me right now, you're probably wondering why everyone is complimenting my shooting. I have been absolutely terrible lately. I haven't had much time or energy to workout or play basketball outside of the league games for a couple of months now. I basically just show up and the 3 or 4 jumpers I get to shoot in warm ups are the first ones I've shot in a week. It sucks, and I know it shows on the court.
Point guard. Chris Paul lite without the defense is the closest comparison I can think of. if any of you mysteriously find yourself in Canada, I'll show you where to ball. I'll bring beer. Hell, I'll bring baby seals while I'm at it.
I'm the three point/ jump shooter and defender. I can't really attack the basket well to save my life, but my threes are killer and anyone I defend gets pissed the hell off. I do it Shane Battier style.
I'm Hakeem Olajuwon out there on the court (At least against my 2year old son and my 4 year old brother).
Gotta love all these posts comparing their game to the pros. Awesome. Personally, I like to play a little basketball, but my typical role on a team is: fan/spectator
Ty Kam, coming from you who has been to a lot of live NBA games that means a lot to me ....... Your length makes you seem about 3 or 4 inches taller. All of the clutchfans in Houston that have posted in this thread should come out to the pickup games.
I have three go-to moves: The post up on a bigger guy, lean in and blow the shot. The lower my shoulder, drive, and hope people get out of my way. And the vicious moving pick. I'm basically a better-looking Matt Harpring.
i've heard this when describing your game: A for effort F for everything else relating to basketball, but still better than Kam
