Crossfit 5-6 times a week. Instruct at a boot camp (outdoor fitness program at a park) for 3-4 times a week.
At school I run XC and play intramural basketball, at home I sit on my ass in air conditioning. And I take the dog for walks, but that's about it.
Don't be jealous 'cuz I can take you one on one, eh? SAS! I am gone! GHOST! Más puuuUUUUuto, CrossFit... ay si tu, mister publicity...
I'm all about cardio. I don't really care about looking ripped or having much muscle tone, really. As long as I'm fit and healthy, I'm good. I play a lot of basketball (or at least try to). Usually I'll play ball a good 2-3 times during the week. I'm out there for roughly 2 1/2 hours, so I do break a good sweat. Also, I've been swimming a lot on the weekends. I cut back on soda complete. I try not to eat anything with high sugar content. Still can't shake the beer, though.
Cardio is easier for me, as long as I'm in a nice air-conditioned room. My legs have always been in pretty good shape. Weight-training is the hard part for me, I always get weak and can't do very many pushups or situps, or curls with free weights. Any suggestions for what I should be doing to gradually improve upper-body strength?
I'm gonna be completely honost here. I used to exercise on average three times a week. That was more than 2 years ago when I was in school and had too much free time. But now a days I do not exercise at all. Only running up the stairs to get to my room. I just don't have enough time. Besides GYM memberships are a rip off.
You gotta start off slow. Before I would max out on 13-15 pushups, now I do 35-40 easily. Try the pull-up machine at the gym also but with weight support. You'll get stronger slowly but surely.
No excuses. You don't need a gym to get in shape. Go jogging outside, go swimming... many, many options.
Started running again a month ago. Have gone from 2 days a week running 100 yards and being completely out of breath to 4 days a week running non-stop for 2 miles at 11:00 a mile, walking another mile and then running another 2 miles at 12:00 minutes a mile. Trying to build up to a fairly fast 5K and go from there. Will start doing weight training also soon. Gotta add that having the Nike Plus thing on my shoes / iPod is a BIG factor in keeping me motivated.
Sure, because you know its just SO ****ING FUNNY when you and swoly call each other b**** and *** in spanish in every thread.
Fine... we'll teach you to call us "joto" also... so you can join in. Mmmmmkay? Not right now. I just went back to your house. Hold up. Might take a while.
6 months ago I was the 3rd option. Now I'm the 2nd option. Planning to get back to the 3rd option, but I have bigger fish to fry at the moment.
