Sandler been at this since the 80s and still going, and don't forget his production company Happy Madison, still going strong... I also quite enjoy Funny People very underrated flick by judd apatow...

I like most of the older stuff, but like half the SNL alum, he hasn't been able to sustain things - Will Ferrell and Tina Fey have done the best job (recent years) of finding a second wind. AIRHEADS! Little Nicky was the first sign of trouble and Mr Deeds was nearly the end. I think Anger Management gave him a badly needed career lifeline. The Chuck & Larry - Grown Ups - Jack & Jill - That's My Boy run has him in full fledged Eddie Murphy bomb mode....and there's going to be a sequel to Grown Ups for some explainable reason.
I was thinking the same thing. This recent run of terrible Sandler movies compares to the Metro, Holy Man, Bowfinger run that Eddie had. Eddie seemed to take more heat for his bombs though and somehow Grown Ups gets a sequel.
