What are you talking about? It was a non-contact injury on the opposite knee. You can't prevent those things like that. He could have rehabbed another year and the same could have happened.

Review of injury mechanism on @drose shows ACL tear type mechanism. Short left step, overstrides on right side and slight buckle. Hoping not.

Athletes who injure an ACL have a significantly higher chance of injuring opposite knee ACL. @drose injury is suspicious for this occurrence.

So??? My point is he should not have been bashed.

You don't know what caused this injury just because it's not the same knee doesn't mean the previous knee injury didn't have an effect on it.

anyone know why you're more likely to hurt the other knee? Relying too much on the good knee?

it was a nice story to see him come back and play well.

but back to back seasons with injuries, then an entire year off? now this happens 15 games in?

bulls need to cut ties ASAP

Don't know. I wonder if it just means that the way our body is built means that some people are just vulnerable to ACL injuries.

Looks like his lateral meniscus went out on the first plant, and complete ligament tear on the second. There is a chance he can still come back as early as next season if they do a cadaver graft.

Think it is a over compensation kind of thing.

Man this really sucks, you saw the potential in this team when they beat the Pacers and that maybe the East had three legit contenders but now it looks like there are just two teams in the East and the rest are just mediocre.

Hopefully it is just a sprain or something.

No, it was all in his head. And he still plays like it for the most part to start the season. When you play in "fear," the risk of injury is much higher.

The doctors cleared him last year to play. He didn't think he was ready. He could have rested and rehabbed more and he could still get injured.

Again, you can't prevent these types of injuries (it was non-contact).
