true, but if it makes you feel any better, while they reload to always have good product and entertaining to watch, absolutely 0% chance of winning it all though.

If the Yao/T-Mac era worked, the sky was the limit - multiple championships, etc. At no point during this last reload for the Jazz did I ever once seriously consider them a true contender for the championship.

Of course, the Yao/T-Mac etc. era turned out to be disastrous, so the Jazz have the leg up for now, and perhaps into the future...

    but who knows.

They have already filled the two hardest positions to fill, I think they will have some capspace next offseason. If used correctly, they can potentially be a force to be reckoned with next year (and if they contend, Deron could stay).

@ryenarussillo just tweeted "Pretty shocked about D-Will, we will be on ESPN Radio in 30min breaking it down. HOU thought they had a deal, almost sent DWill to SAC".

I wonder if DM could have gotten that 1st round pick owned by the Nets for Aaron Brooks.

They took Gordon Haywood with the #9 pick last year. Time will tell I guess, but I think Paul George had and has much more upside, and he was picked right after.

This is seeming to be a very weak draft. At the 6th spot, they might be able to nab a future all-star, but one has to think the Nets will automatically play a little better. There's not too many games left, but they might be able to pass Detroit, the Bucks and/or Charlotte depending on what moves they make.

That puts them back into the 7-9 category in a weak draft.

At this point it is all BS. What if they can steal one more great player, what if Brook lopez develops into 20/10 guy and with them playing in NY what if they all of the sudden become a very good team?

    TOO EARLY

How do you know we didn't try?

If we traded our entire roster and all of our future picks, it would not be a better package than what the Nets gave up.

Face it, we don't have the assets.

So NJ gave up Devin Harris, Derrick Favors and a 1st rounder for a Deron Williams rental. Damn.

Deron should demand a trade...There's still time for Nets to flip him to Houston. #Iwish

When I went to espn.com and saw this I was like..... What was the deal with Utah doing this? So I guess DW did have something to do with Sloan retiring.
