    There is the distinct possibility that next year, the entire NJ team will be Brook Lopez+Jay-Z

    this will seriously go down as one of the worst trades of all-time I think. score another one for the Nets!

    Remember that twitter report that said an NBA reporter/source texted most of the all-star players at the game asking them would they sign the NJ extension if they were Melo and all of them replied No.

    I'm wondering if Deron was one of those guys that was texted.

    I like Deron and I am glad he is out of Utah.

    Yeah Nets isnt anything to get excited over but atleast you are not living and socializing with scumbags on a day to day basis.

    Which means Cousins to us? It would make more sense if Cousins went to Utah.. what the hell could we offer Utah to make them want to do that three-way?

    Is Favors really good enough to warrant getting something like Deron? I don't understand the Utah personnel collapse all of a sudden, starting from why they let Wesley Mathews go.

    I've always said out amd I'll say it again... Why are w the only team that seems to have to give up so much for a star...all utah gave was a scrub guard and an unproven rookie

    To recap:
    – The Nets forced the Knicks to gut their team to add ‘Melo.
    – They then traded the exact same package for a superior player.
    – They won’t have to worry about extending D-Will until after the new CBA comes into place, potentially saving them millions of dollars compared to a Carmelo extension.

    I am noticing a trend here.

    Big trade goes down. We find out after the trade goes down that Morey had his hands in the cookie jar.

    But the end result is...

    No result.
