Jameer Nelson is very underrated. Give him a better coach than Brian Hill. Hell, put him with a decent coach like Nate McMillian and Nelson will reach his potential.
I don't think so, the guy is just a backup point guard. he's not he best distributor and he's really too small on the defensive end. his offense makes him a good change of pace guy.
I'm with you. I've always liked Jameer but i'd be kidding myself if I didn't believe that Delonte West was the better of those St. Joe's guys.
Are they as dominant with the ball, just because their assist totals are similar doesnt meen they distribute the ball as well. Whats his assist ratio and turnover ratio? A true PG will have a high assist ratio and low turnover numbers.
Arenas is the lowest of the group at 1.8. Parker is next lowest at 2.15. But what you have to consider is TOs also come from driving and trying to score (which he does more than any of the group), not just from trying to pass. A/TO is part of the story, but not the whole story. Terry, Hinrich and Barbosa have better A/TO ratios than either Arenas or Parker, but that doesn't make the 1st group more pure PGs. A player is a PG if he plays that position. You expect that player to typically get reasonable number of assists, solid A/TO, to bring the ball up the court, and to set up the team. Arenas and Parker fit most of that description even with their less steller APG and A/TO relative to most other elite PGs.
I also wish Lebron was with the Rockets and Duncan was in the Rockets. I also want to get laid every night by fine women, drinking champange in my mansion. What's your point?
