A buy out is actually better for the Rockets than Fisher picking up his player option for next year. derp derp..
Sometimes I'm disheartened by the fact that the fans we do have on CF who have an understanding of NBA economics, market values, buyouts etc are vastly outnumbered by those that rely on players allegedly getting "butthurt" as their sole determinant of a players character. That being said, I wouldn't mind his veteran leadership here in Chicago but I'm not clamoring for it. We have enough back up points and we don't need one that is going to get outshined by John Lucas III in practice. Fish is a better fit in OKC -- our veteran mediocore ring winner position is solidified with the White Mamba Brian Scalabrine.
We were probably going to buy him out regardless but to not report is a lack of integrity. He signed a contract and he should honor it. I am not going to pretend that he is this class act and staple of integrity because he is not.
He will play in the East, I assume. He has too much respect for the Lakers and will not play for another team in the West. So, my pick is Chicago.
It means you are in between the teeny bopper stage and learning how life really works, so you get a pass for being in a confusing state.
So he doesnt play NBA ball again till next season? He cant resign with Lakers till free agency begins.
He hasn't missed a day of work since 2004. How many of us can truly say that? Perfect attendance is under rated.
