Maybe I’m just being too stingy, but 4 mil per for 4 years seems like too much for Damon Jones. I was thinking more like 3 mil per for 3 years. He’d be an adequate starting point guard for next season, but I view him a back up on the long run. Antonio Daniels will be tougher to get now that Seattle lost out on Fisher. I hope the Rockets do not get desperate and overpay Seattle to get him.
Part of the puzzle right. But, he also said DRIBBLE, DRIBBLE, DRIBBLE. If you are dribbling, you need a Bib. Middle of nowhere = Sacramento. Dribbling needs a bib = Mike Bibby. We are dealing with sacramento for Mike Bibby!!!! I cannot believe it. Maybe they are taking Maurice Taylor in the deal to replace Chris Webber who they maybe are going to move elsewhere.
Sounds pretty good compared to Doc's post. If that is true, UNBELIEVABLE!!! He certainly fits Doc's requirements.
I don't buy that, no way we get Bibby!! But out of NOWHERE implies someone we haven't considered yet!
Maybe it is some way to get Dampier (either 3-way or xtra cap). You put Damier along side Miller, Peja Christie & Jax. Thats pretty good.
Bibby knocks down the open shot every time...and he's got nasty handle.....that would be too good to be true...
49 to 55 million dollars for Fisher would be right!? 39 million dollars a bargain!? What!? Thank god the Rockets didn't give that guy that type of money. Daniels would give us, at the least, the same thing Fisher would give. Hopefully the Fisher deal hasn't hurt our chances at getting Daniels.
I think that's a stupid contract for the Warriors. I think they lack some talent and putting that money into a guy with the ability of Fisher just isn't thinking ahead.
I'd cream my pants if we got Bibby. But forget about it. It isn't within the realm of possiblity to get bibby without moving out T-Mac or Yao.
I am kinda glad cause I never liked stinky fisher...yeah he knocks down big shots but he also dissappears for longer stretches than Rob Horry. There's gotta be a young PG available somewhere.
What is Bbby at - over $10 mil for 2004-5? that is HUGE considering who the Rox have been thinking of signing.
Why let a big go just so you can sign a small? Is Fisher really more valuable than Dampier? Do they really think signing Fisher will put them over the top? Just another notch in a string of weird signings and trades that will make this offseason one to remember.
