Just to add, Speedy Claxton would be an AWESOME pick-up if the Rockets could get him. Speedy was tearing it up for Philly before he got hurt, and, as mentioned, he was nails for the Spurs in their championship run, basically outplaying Tony Parker in the playoffs. He's the perfect PG, would love to get him somehow.

No, I think we would have to give up MoT for him.:D

Realisticly, the Kings have been losing all kinds of money because the Maloofs were trying to win it all once they got so close. Sactown isn't big enough to support this kind of payroll with the luxory tax and the Maloofs aren't rich enough to take the hit like Cuban and NY can.

I can see them doing this because they know their window of opportunity is over and Bibby is overpaid for a non contending team.

    Haha! That would be sweet!

But I would assume one of our forwards + picks or something goes to one or both of the other teams. I think Sac would go for it with a starting 5 of Jax/Doug/Peja/Miller/Dampier come off the bench w/NVE & Divac, of course the Rockets would do it, I would think getting Webber+ that the Warriors would do it especially since they will lose Dampier anyway. Just my thoughts though.

I've read that New York is interested in a sign and trade for Dampier so I could see them being involved in a deal with the Warriors, but they've also been trying to work out a deal for Jamal Crawford. That would leave them with Stephon Marbury, Jamal Crawford, Frank Williams and Moochie. Somebody has gotta go there too.

How can Claxton be to short, he's 5-11 and Mike Bibby is 6-1? I'd take Claxton, though I think the Rockets are looking at other options.

I like Claxton. He has no 3 point ability, at all. He's an above average jump shooter from 18 feet though. But no 3 piont ability at all.

i cant belive some are saying claxton for starting material. NO way. WE need someone who has a decent 3 pt shot. And claxton doesent even know what a three is.I rather go with AD or DJ.

    10.6 ppg
    4.5 apg

    26 minutes per game.

Im not saying that he is awesome, but his numbers were pretty good last year given his role.

What are you talkin about? 10ppg and 4.5apg is pretty good for 23 minutes per game. Given the minutes he could be good.

    FG: .421 3pt: .121

his shot is not good. He is supposedly suppose to be a good midrange shooter but .421 dont really impress me.

His midrange shot is decent. We don't need him to take a lot of
3 pters. TMac/ JJ/ Boki/ Pike will take care of that.

Speedy can run offense, defend and step up in clutch time.
Sounds good to me. In case of injury, he can keep us in the game.
