Fanatics all want their teams to win and see the refs against their team it happens but I am glad the shoe is the other foot but if they think they got robbed, Yao gets robbed a lot in games by the refs no calls.
Thanks. To add my two cents. Kleiza was out of control. There wasn't a complete full out charge where Kleiza bulled over Chuck but there was contact. Because he was out of control and in the lane it was a good call but Chuck did seem to go down easy. What I'm saying is I can see why Denver fans are peeved but it was a good call.
we won, deal with it,but even if they were robbed, isnt it about time someone robs the other team and not us? yao gets lots of bad no calls and calls, the 24-8 free thorw thing in the la game,etc..
i switched to denver channel after the game just to see what they would say they said that landry flopped on that play where the refs called a charge they said the play when yao ming got a t..he shouldve beenc alled for a charge on the birdman
I don't know if "flop" is the right word for what happened. To me, flop makes it sound like he intentionally deceived the refs to get a call. Which he didn't. Was their contact? Yes! Was his feet set and outside of the circle? Yes. Textbook charge call. There is no question. Now, I might be able to believe that Chuck embellished the call. But in these times, you almost have to do that in order to get a call in the first place. If Chuck had just gotten hit and stumbled back a few steps but stayed on his feet, he wouldn't have gotten a call. No way was that not a charge.
I don't know if it was an offensive foul, but let's be honest, if the refs had called all those calls they missed, we would have won anyway...
This is what happens when you have bad referees. No matter who wins, the losing team will think they got jobbed. We're homers and we're naturally going to see and remember the bad calls that went against us. But they're homers too and are going to see and remember the bad calls that went against them. As a result, each side believes that they're getting the short end of the stick when in fact both ends are short. Nobody wins when you have bad refs.
why would you complain about denver announcers believing denver got jobbed? 90% of the home announcers are biased toward their teams, no reason to get worked up about it. classy of him to respond.
Why? Even if they "review" it, they won't do anything to change. The NBA is convinced that the officials make the right call 99.9% of the time.
