I think the Denver team is actually a better team after the trade.

The have got amazing depth 12 deep.

The have a much better defence and all round team.

Im a big fan of Billups but his on the decling with age.

yea but the addition of additional talent on this current squad won't catapult them to contender status like it would with anthony/billups.

Just a curious question, Do defensive teams have dirty players?

Well let's just say that barring some exceptions (Battier, Yao), the best defensive players tend to be dirty pieces of **** (Bowen, Harpring, KG, Rodman). So defensive teams tend to keep one of those around, because nothing intimidates players more than the classic enforcer.

They're positioned a lot like the current Rockets roster. Probably a little better off considering their young talent has a higher ceiling.

If it wasn't because we are set at the 2 guard, I would love for Morey to go after Affalo in the offseason

that's the case b/c melo didn't make his teammates better. that denver team was talented enough to go at least to the semifinals or further every year. it's a shame.

NY won't do much unless they get an all-around all-star.

I don't think Denver is weak at any position; not many teams can say that.

    Hmm

    Since the Melo Trade:

Knicks: 6-6, including two loses to the Cavs and the Pacers.

Nuggets: 8-2, including a 1 pt overtime loss on the road to Portland.

Did the Knicks can get that much better? I mean they already had 2nd best offense in the league. Their D is what needed work. Now it seems Amare has gotten slightly worse and Melo has had several games of chucking, but overall he's been solid. Together though I don't know if they fit. I'm aware they made the trade looking beyond this season but if CP3 doesn't come over in the summer, I'm relunctant of how far they can go.

Denver blew out Atlanta in Atlanta.

    Is Anthony Ewing v.2.0?

The crazy thing is that they aren't even playing with the best player from that trade, Gallinari.
