[Denver Post] Rockets Still interested in Wells...

If Bonzi signed, Rox might waive Sura/Bowen/Snyder or trade Head. Azubuike would be waived after training camp.

 

How is the possiblity that we can sign Bonzi??

 

First someone makes a depth chart with Synder on the IR, and now someone suggests that we waive him?

You don't waive a guy with great size, great per minute production, and who you got for free and plays at one of your weakest positions. I don't understand this line of thinking.

 

We have the 4.2M TE. IMO if we can use it we can sign him.

 

3-way deal wanted!

 

How would he get more minutes from the Rockets??

At the 2 we have Head, Snyder, Vspan, sometimes TMac and possibly sura.
At the 3 we have TMac and SB.

Where are the minutes unless we trade somebody? We seem to be loaded at the 2 and the 3.

 

Yao / Battier / T-mac / Wells / Alston

Mutombo / Howard / Novak / Snyder /Span on the bench

what will u say ?

Score? no problem
Rebound? no problem
defense? no problem

Top 6 in west conference , even if you are the coach, or without coach.

 

Bonzi is far better than any of the players you listed (except TMac).

He's not the one that would need to worry about his minutes.

 

He will be our starting SG. If D.Wesley can get major minutes than Wells can definitely get good amount of minutes. Wells should get around 30-35 minutes per game and let Head and Snyder play out with the rest of the minutes.

Vspan will be backing point behind Alston.

Say we sign bonzi the great, then we should trade head and try to get a bigman .

Wells/Snyder
Tmac/Battier
Battier/Howard
Yao/Deke

Our 4 and 5 spot rotation is looking real weak. however our starting 5 potentialy could be the best defensive and versatile in the league.

 

Bonzi Wells would be a heavy weight addition to our roster, gauranteed starter of our team IMHO. Given Snyder and Head as his backup while Juwan Howard and Hayes as Battier's backup, we have a very promising group of bench players as well. I would even consider it as a disappointing season if we ranked below 6th in the playoff with this line up.

I just wonder who Kings would want in return if we do an S&T with them. Anyone familiar with Kings' needs here?

 

Bonzi plusses..... Rebounding, defense, post up ability at 2, can finish on the break.

Bonzi on the minus side..... 3 point shooting, possible attitude problem.

With Yao and McGrady the attitude problem should be negated.
The 3 point shooting though could be a BIG problem for Yao. Who's going to spread the floor, Alston, Mcgrady and Bonzi will get all the 3 point shots they want with their percentages. Double and triple team Yao and let those 20% guys have their shot from outside.

This may not work as well as you might think, then again that's a pretty strong defensive team out there

 

bonzi will complete us, i like our moves at the 2 so far this year, but all the 2s we have on this team are all bench players, none are worthy of starting, now even if we get wells off the bench he will man most of the minutes at that spot, im really looking forward to wells joining us, o man im gnna bust a nut

Well, it took me like three hours to finish the shading on his upper lip (mole).




If I really have to spell it out for you, of course i didnt take all day. I barely found out the news this morning. It took me like three minutes on a frickin' paint thing. Look at the top of his head...

 

Some people suck really badly at photo editing. There are people that would take all day on something like that, and would be proud of it. My assumption was that you were kidding, but I didn't want to hurt your feelings if you weren't.
