i wouldn't think even think about that deal. wade is a great player but he's also one of the most overrated players in the league. tracy is better in basically every aspect of the game. wade is better at attacking the basket but only because he does it more. tracy didn't go to college so he has more nba years than the average player his age, but did he really play that much more in toronto his first couple seasons than a full college season plus the tournament? i don't know, i think alot of frustration he's had with losing or not getting anywhere in the playoffs has caused him to mentally think his prime will be short. once he gets a good playoff run in with yao his spirit will improve and so will his health. it sucks that this year is going to waste but i'm still convinced that a yao/t-mac tandem will win a championship. the last time they played together we went 5-1 on the road trip and there's no question we'd have one of the top 5 records in the league had they both been healthy the entire season. i'm not breaking anything up because of this season.
Our record this season is 9-5 with both Yao and Tmac playing. That's the 3rd best winning percentage in the league, just behind the Spurs and Pistons.

Question: Do you think this is a reason to limit Str8 from high schoolers? Just a question . . . not an opinion Rocket River Probably why Rudy passed on Rashard.
I don't buy that. I just think that is a frustrated McGrady talking. He has more then 3 prime years left, that is obvious. Once the Rockets start winning you'll see him be more positive.
T-Mac's atheleticism will definitely decline in three to four years. But so what? Although T-Mac is a fantastic player, he still has room to improve in terms of his basketball IQ. As he gets older he will also learn more tricks like MJ, Magic, and Reggie; T-Mac will be less spectacular, but he will also be more efficient. And let's face it, even a T-Mac at 50% of his glory is still better than 90% of the NBA. I'm not worried at all.
I think that is the point MENTALLY TOUGH folx are not just good when things are going good. they go all out all the time It worries me . . if he only positive in the positive moments when EVERYTHING is near right Rocket River
In a minute. Not because I like either player better, I just think they both have a lot more in the tank.
TMac still has a lot left in the tank...he does need to toughen up a lot, but just look at that Jumper of his...even when he's hurt, he still gets unbelievable elevation. He'll be able to get that easy looking jumper off against the league for at least 5 more years. Plus, he's a smart player and a good passer...he'll be worthy of the max for as long as we have him.
fire ole man grumpy! if this injury plagued season illustrates anything, its the complete bankruptcy of Grumpy's "offensive" schematic.
Allen Iverson is 30 and he's doing just fine, and nobody depends more on their physical talents than Allen Iverson. He doesn't even like to practice.
Allen Iversion isn't 6'8 with a scrawny lower body carrying around bulky upper body mass, with a history of back trouble.
