I would love to see Denver make the playoffs while Minny and LAL (especially LAL) miss the playoffs. If Cleveland can miss the playoffs and delay more King James hype, it would be even nicer.

    agree with Gutter.

I hope the Fakers/Cavs miss the playoffs so we dont have to hear all the Kobe / Lebron "He's Just Like Michael Crap" and all the overhyping.

I also dont want Denver making the playoffs instead put in the Clippers or Minny.

I feel bad for KG he plays his heart out.

By trying to figure out my order of disdain, I have come to the conclusion that I'd strongly rather see KG make the playoffs with his band of malcontents. Therapist #8 should be damned by the Gods of Basketball from here on out, and Melo needs to get the message that he has to work for success in the league.

Anyone else see George Karl on PTI talking about Anthony yesterday? Pretty interesting.

Now that Rudy's gone, I too would love to see the Kobe-led Fakers fail.

Man, I don't post for a few days and you guys send out the search for me. What are you guys gonna do when I'm in Costa Rica for a week? ;)

BTW, keep slamming us on the schedule if you want. Simple fact is, we wont hte games. To make the playoffs, you have to win the games you're supposed to. We did just that. Not only that, but we've been playing great ball.

I'm just praying we can grab a #7 seed. SA will kill whomever they play. I could see us beating either Phoenix or Seattle. On another note, how much of a wet dream is Phoenix vs Denver for TV? Two fast paced teams who will run ragged and put up some offensive fireworks.

Plus, I think we could take Phoenix. The next time they play D will be the first. That said, we have to MAKE the playoffs first.

NO, not the Rockets! SA will probably beat us or slaughter us, but they will not kill the us. Unless we get blown out, we will be in every game we play.

My opinion (which is extremely firm), will only change after tomorrow if the Suns murmer us.

We as Rockets fans, unless we lose the very next game, will be the most confident fans in the world.

And if you guys do lose a game it's "FIRE VAN GUNDY!" "FIRE CD!" "FIRE CLUTCH (THE BEAR)!!" LOL That's why I love you guys.

I forgot you guys played the Suns tomorrow night. Crap, I really wish I wasn't promoting a concert tomorrow night. I guess that's what the VCR is (you know, that thing that those of us that can't afford TiVo use).

    hey Nuggets4.

do you think Elson has a future with your team? I know i asked this last year, but now you have Martin, Camby, and Nene. So he is fourth. Do you think he will get more playing time? Or less. He played pretty wel a couple of games ago when he was allowed to start.

    thanks,
    BTW still a great Sig:D

We'll see how Phoenix's run-and-gun style fairs in the NBA playoffs. I wouldn't mind at all facing Phoenix.

A lot of us are hoping that Elson sticks around, but it could be interesting this summer. He probably could get a spot on a team and be the first or second big man off of hte bench. With us, he's probably 3rd (K-Mart & Camby start, Nene and Najera are first off of the bench). I think it depends on if we deal Nene this summer or not.

LOL! Sorry, I screwed up. And to everyone saying "I've never said that" -- chill. I never said EVERYONE is doing it. But it's sometimes a war zone in the Rockets forum.

Hey N4, I just want to say kudos to your Nuggies. I've been a fan since they knocked off the Sonics in '94 and it's good to see them turning this season around. Hope it's not too late to keep the Lakers out of the Playoffs. Plus, I'd love to see history repeat and you guys knock off the #1 seed again.

Kudos to you too for being a die-hard Nuggets fan. I lived in Denver for a few years and that place is like basketball gulag. It's all Broncos/Avs/Rockies there. At least there were lots of tickets available to catch the games.

Ditto. Carmelo bugs me sometimes but how can you hate on a team with Earl Boykins? I can't see them going anywhere in the playoffs at all.

They should improve next year with Voshon coming back, but that won't get them over the hump either, I don't think. Maybe 2nd round at best. What type of moves do you think they should make to get to that next level? You could argue that they need better frontcourt production, but Camby puts up more than decent numbers and you'd have to think KMart stat wise is giving you what you expected (maybe a fraction less).

    What do you think Nugs4?

I reckon you need to make that "tough trade" - the big one which brings you back an absolute marquee player, but involves giving up some valuable pieces!

Something like a Carmello/ Nene for Ray Allen

I think the secondary pieces are all there - just a matter of finding the primary piece to put with it!

I always thought Denver got a bad rap. We had an AWFUL team, and yet we still outdrew some teams. THe city is basketball crazy, but after being destroyed by Bickerstaff, Issel, Bristow and Issel again, people felt burned. We were THE up and coming team, only to let it go away for nothing. Pop in a tape of last year's playoff game (game 3) against Minnesota -- Bill Walton calls it possibly the loudest building he's ever been in.

Vo won't be back. He's a free agent this summer (or team option, can't remember). When he tore his ACL, barring a huge miracle, he played his last minute as a Nugget (IMO). As for the Melo/Nene for Allen trade, I hope you're kidding. Melo by himself could EASILY get Allen. I think Nene or possibly Camby will be shopped this summer, depending on how the team feels about DeMarr Johnson. SG is obviously our weak point, but DJ has played pretty damn well for us. If Kiki thinks he could be a solid player for us, it wouldn't surprise me to see us go for a mid-level trade acquisition to man the position with DJ. IF he feels like we have to have an Allen/Redd, he'll make the big deal (probably involving Nene and future picks).

It's gonna be interesting. One things' for sure, it's nice having a real coach. I respected Buzz, but it's night and day when you ahve a respected coach in the position (by both players and front office).
