    While all these photoshops and comments are hilarious, I kinda want to see Nuggets4 take on this whole situation. Does he know Ujiri's track record in the past? Does he have any real discernible relationship with Carmelo that he can use to maybe convince Melo to stay in Denver?? I'm genuinely curious to see how this is all gonna play out.

    Maybe he'll send Kevin Bacon to Africa to recruit a center.

    Question: Did Denver draft Llull and then trade his rights to the Rockets or did they draft him for the Rockets?

    If the former is true, he could be another asset in a trade that would allow us to keep someone else...

    i think that's pretty obvious, but guys like Melo rarely get traded for equal value, especially when they force their way out.

    Look at what vince carter has been traded for in the past. Even tmac when he was "healthy". This is a comparable deal to that one. You trade one star/supestar for two semi-star types.

    One could technically call it a bad deal, but in the NBA that doesnt mean it's unlikely.

    Since when did Marion and Haywood count as "semi-stars"? Marion's career has been 100% created by Steve Nash, and now that Nash is gone he's been exposed as nothing more than a more athletic Ariza but with an even more broken jumpshot. Also Haywood is a good player, but is pretty much overpaid...I doubt you'll find anyone refer to him as a "semistar" though.

    Also why the hell will the Nuggets consider this deal when NJ, NY, the Bulls, Clippers and us can offer so much more? Any deal with Lopez, Harris, Favors, Gallo, Hill, NY Picks, or almost any type of asset you can think of is automatically better than Marion+Haywood. Whenever you trade a star you want expiring contracts, draft picks, and young up-and-coming players. Your trade proposal of 30+ old Marion and Haywood on bloated contracts offers none of that.

    A quick skim didn't show this being posted... I thought it was an interesting read.

    Henry Abbott has a piece on Masai, mainly accounts from David Thorpe:
    The article detailed his ability to discover basketball talents from all corners of the world, and I'm sure he'd be a capable GM for Denver as they rebuild from scratch. His experience dealing with other GMs via trade has yet to be seen.

    I wouldn't be quick to label him a David Kahn or Chris Wallace yet.

    rockets can easily have a better package than marion + haywood (both defintely not semi-stars right now)

    marion = over the hill star
    haywood = role player

    Man this guy just inherited a lot of stress, why are posters thinking he doesn't have experience? Yeah he was an assistant for the Raps, I'm sire he will learned something after Bosh took off leaving them nothing. So fearing he will face the same doom, Melo will be gone if not before then my the deadline he should be rockin new threads, hopefully it's that Victory Red.

    Play it smart Masai, trade with DM you can never go wrong. Muahaha

    RAPE, RAPE, RAPE!!!
