I have to get some dental work done and I have no dental insurance. I have heard dental schools in the area will do work for very cheap compared to a full fledged dentist. Has anyone ever gone this route and do you have places you would refer? A crown came off one of my back molars on the bottom jaw. I got temperary dental cement from the drug store but it says it's only for temp use. My tooth underneath feels fine and doesn't seem to have decay. thanks guys!
I give 25% off to Clutchfans members with no insurance. Cost at our office is $70 to re-cement a crown.
If the wisdom teeth are fully impacted in the bone, then we refer to oral surgeons...otherwise, we will do them in-office. A panoramic xray will be needed as well.
Dude are you serious? You're a dentist? Could you post or pm your clinic's website and maybe an email address to contact you at. I have some questions re. a root canal.
i just went to dentist for the first time in years and i could see the guy being on clutchfans. that would be some crazy **** if it was rezdawg.
Anyone interested in going the dental school route for significantly reduced prices (about 75%) just email me and I'll set you up le081488@yahoo.com
www.westhoustondentistry.com The website is just getting started. Email address is westhoustondentistry@gmail.com to get in touch with me. Floss@westhoustondentistry.com to get in touch with the front desk. You can also message me through the board for any questions. We also accept all major PPOs. Let me know how I could help, I'd be more than happy to assist. Office is located on Richmond between Dairy Ashford and Kirkwood at the west Houston medical center.
Depends on the size and location...it can be anywhere from 100-250. Yeah, I can go ahead and do the 25% off for significant others or friends. The discount can really only be applied to those without insurance. We have a set fee with insurance companies to be in their network, so there won't be as much wiggle room with that.
sorry to gravedig, but I think this would be better than starting a new post I'm a student at the UT dental school in the med center. We (the 2nd year class - it's a 4 year program on top of your undergraduate degree) are in clinic right now and I figured I can help out since I saw this topic. I can sign you up as a friend and family member and the process of coming into the school's program will be alot easier. If you don't need anything feel free to let me know how your experience was and if you could just spread the word if you know anyone else that needs dental work done. If you are interested, PM me and ill give you my contact information. I was a patient here before I started school and have no concerns or complaints. To me, everything was as good or better than a regular practice since they double check sometimes triple check everything. There are professors (Actual dentist) that check everything that goes on and everything is cheap about 1/3 the price of a regular practice.
no problem feel free to contact me, it really is good quality work at a very reduced price. I'm still a patient at the school currently actually.
