I need some work done, most importantly my wisdom teeth extracted. Anybody know a place that deals in cash for cheap? I dont have insurance and dont have a ton of money to spend, but I could fork over the cash if needed.
There's been a few threads in the past asking for patients for some dental schools. Try doing a search for them. Plus rezdawg is the resident dentist here, maybe pm him.
Yo, I want someone to put their hands in my mouth and yank out teeth. What's the cheapest way to do it? Looking back now it's hard to see how he ended up with an infected mouth and a jacked up grill.
The Navy (when I was in the Marine Corps) put in cheap fillings that fell out. At this point, it will save me the trouble just having them extracted as some are my wisdom teeth.
Any dentist should work with you if you want to pay cash, or they have payment plans at most places if you want to finance it. Either way, get it done right.
Just dropped $1000 on a deep cleaning and 3 small cavities. Up next is brightening. Better to go professional or a store bought kit?...or maybe dental students offer this service? Crest recently introduced a stronger product for $60 over the counter.
I bring an oral surgeon into my office for wisdom teeth. Depending on their positioning, I can also take them out, which would cost less than the oral surgeon's price. I also offer payment plan options to my patients. If you want to do it at a dental school, make sure you are having it done by an oral surgery resident as opposed to a dental school student....keep in mind that dental students are practicing (so are oral surgery residents, but to a lesser degree). Do you have all 4 wisdom teeth? How many would you want pulled? I can come up with pricing, clutchfans discount, payment plans, etc...
Email sent. The top two wisdom teeth were taken out in a tent a few years back, they never got around to pulling the bottom two. Thanks for the help.
For the poster that PMed me through the board (not JD88)...I tried replying twice, but it wouldnt go through. PM again with a working email address and I'll reply again.
I have never done it myself. I have family that lives in the Valley. Both parents and kids simply cross the border to do dental work. They have med insurance here but found it a tone cheaper to do the work there. They go to very skilled dentists and pay in cash. All I can say is both parents have good teeth and my cousins teeth are super straight.
