Its a little after 6 am here in vegas and I'm at a local dennys and its packed...mostly high school kids though.
I got there right after 6 this morning. There was a crowd but it got real packed right after I put my name on the list.
There's a Denny's not too far from me and I might swing by to take a look to see how crowded it is but I'm going to pass on the free Grand Slam. I will eat at Denny's every now and then out of convenience, not choice, but I'm not inclined to go wait around for a Denny's meal even if it is free unless I'm really hungry, really poor, or there is nothing else open and at the moment none of those apply.
are people going crazy at denny's? lots of people? I'm not gonna go, just wondering how insane it is. People will do anything for something 'free'
I don't like Denny's as it is but I bet it's worse there than being in a Walmart on a busy shopping day. *shiver*
I would rather walk into the gates of hell wearing a sandwich board poster that says "Satan is a p*ssy" than go to Walmart on a Saturday afternoon.
Ditto. Except replace "Saturday afternoon" with "ever." (Even though that wouldn't make sense gramatically, you get the point).
Because if you shop at walmart you are a redneck, duh. To some people saving money is not important because they have plenty, and they look down on people who goes to walmart kmartc etc.

Believe me, I like to save money as much as anyone. I avoid Walmart as much as possible...the service is terrible, it's always a huge clusterf*** trying to get through the aisles, people have no regard for where they are going with their baskets, the lines are long at the registers, its dirty, and the majority of people inside look like they might be ready to pull out a knife or gun on you the minute you walk out into the parking lot (especially at night). Some are a little better than others. The one closest to my place is the worst I've ever been in...it seems like the ones in bigger shopping areas are the worst. Therefore I avoid going there unless I absolutely have to (if it's late, or I just need one specific non-grocery item that I know will be cheaper and I don't need anything special).
Well I live in a small city and the walmart here is just fine. It always have low price (not the lowest).
Nope, afraid of thugs period. this particular store usually has some pretty thuggish looking shoppers of a few different races. One is definitely more prevalent than the others, though ... but no need to get any deeper into that.
