The nut punch was bad but I was more offended by the flop and roll around when the wind from PJ Tucker’s hand moving past his face cause him to writhe around in agony on the floor. Referees are trash but I don’t really blame them for missing that and the nut punch. Somethings are just really hard in real time. I do have a problem with the NBA doing absolutely nothing about it. They had an anti flopping policy so ill enforced that I don’t even know if it’s still around and it’s effectiveness is exactly the same. You can stop the bullshit if you make hard line policies that punish the flagrant bullshitters. Instead you get what we have here today which is the way he wants it. The NBA doesn’t give a ****.
I don’t think a suspension is coming; not sure it’s warranted. Not from what I’ve seen from the NBA recently. I mean Giannis head butted someone not during play out of nowhere and only got 1. That was way worse. Chris Paul and Rajon Rondo lunches each other in the face and only got 1 or 2. Schroeder ran into someone and flung his hand into his nuts, so he got thrown out of the game. It was dirty. Can’t stand him. But not going to scream for a suspension.
Dennis Schroeder is a predator. Shame on the league for allowing him to do this. Habitual groin-grabbing dirtball.
I hate that the punishment for the response to a dirty foul is equal to the punishment of the dirty foul itself. Schroder punched him in the balls. In what universe does that happen without a very bad response? Especially when there's a referee watching and he just got done blaming you for getting punched in the balls. Especially when that caused you to pick up another foul when you were in foul trouble. Tucker deserved some kind of punishment for his angry response, but calling those things equally drives me up a wall. In any game. It reminds me of siblings getting into a bad fight, where the instigator has attacked the other in a way that that demanded a response, begetting the fight (and the badness of it) in the first place. And then a parent coming into the room to referee the situation and saying something like "I don't want to hear about it, you're both grounded."
If the roles were reversed and Houston were the ones throwing nut punches we wouldn't stop hearing how "dirty" the rockets play.OKC does it twice and no ones talk about it smh
Billy Donovan is a SOB. He said PJ should have been ejected for an illegal screen and Schroder shouldn't have been ejected.
What's up with these foreign players hitting players in the nuts??? I remember Portland used to have a French dude who was famous for punching other players in the balls. He got traded to Charlotte. Perhaps it's a cultural thing. Lol
