I agree, likely too old -- probably not any worse than Baker, although that's not saying much. Rodman would definitely put forth the effort. I think the Rocks can survive with the three guy rotation until Howard gets back without resorting to borderline desperation moves. But I guess that's what they did when they signed guys like Oakley and Strickland -- they didn't work so well.
I saw him play at long beach last year and went to his night club in orange county. Saw him in there chillin, not drinking. BUT i'd be surprised if he could still hang in the NBA because of his age.
well a lot of ppl here were complaining about trading for Mutombo(he's 38 years old)....saying he is old and can't run blah blah blah. Mutombo has done a good job gobbling rebounds and blocking shots. about rodman, who knows?
If he ain't good enough for the Hawks to pick him up, he ain't good enough for the Rockets (or any other NBA team) to pick him up. If he was capable of providing any contribution for an NBA game (bring fans to the game to see the freak show, improve standings, build chemistry, lower salary expenses... anything), then he woulda been picked up already by some other team. No. NBA owners know it. NBA managers know it. NBA coaches know it.... and now, you, too, must know it. Rodman is history. say it out loud please... "Rodman..... is..... history" please repeat: "Rodman..... is..... history" ...again... "Rodman..... is..... history" ... one more time... "Rodman..... is..... history" thank you. -- droxford (note: the above exercise also works well for Karl Malone and Scottie Pippen)
