RIP. Saw True Romance again the other day, fantastic movie and a solid performance by Hopper as the father (anyone remember the scene in the trailer with him and mafioso Christopher Walken?). Besides his famous Easy Rider, the American Friend is an overlooked movie where Hopper does great acting.
