Yes that is pretty much what I said. Do you have a rejoinder or are you just checking your reading comprehension?

both. i was incredulous that you could be so obtuse as to so drastically misinterpret the meaning of the brown revolution. but, as i see you are, and as i hope the revolution continues:

    keep ****ing that chicken!

The election of one senator in a special election constitutes a revolution?

You do realize the Democrats still have 59 seats in the Senate, the house and the Whitehouse.

no. three statewide elections in 2.5 months, all won by republicans, all in states Obama won, two of which are deep blue, constitutes a nascent revolution.

One was a terrible candidate who forgot to campaign. In a state that also has had Republican Governors for several years recently.

One was a very corrupt candidate.

One was a weak candidate in a state with a history of not returning the same party to the statehouse consecutively.

I suppose you were one of those who thought Reagan's presidency was doomed when the Republicans got pasted in 1982.

Anyway all of that is tangential to my premise. The Democrats are in a position where passing nothing is most likely going to be political suicide. The history from 1994 shows that is very likely going to be the case. The only bill at the moment that has a chance of passing is the Senate bill. A new stripped down bill will likely not have the time to pass especially given a general fatigue over this issue.

Frankly I suspect that many voters feel fatigued over it right now and are unlikely to reward either party for dragging it out.
