This is such an incredibly ignorant, stupid post. And more racist crap after your infamous black friends post? You're embarrassing yourself.

This is the most disgusting thread I've ever read on this site. Congrats.

There was not one racist or inaccurate thing in my post. Nor in the previous post that you're referencing. If you or anyone else superimposes any racist inferences into either post, that's a pretty good indicator of who really has the racist blinders on.

It is true that large numbers of uninformed young people (of all races) voted for Obama not for any specific policy stance, but solely because he was of a different race than what has been the previous norm. If you refuse to believe that, perhaps you need to go back in the archives and examine the focus groups and countless polling interviews.

The timing and tone of this thread is in incredibly, incredibly poor taste (and that's probably being generous), but we already know that bigtexxx isn't tasteful in any way, shape or form.

Given that, those of you going nuclear need to chill. This actually is a valid point of discussion.

Texx makes valid observation, and the left woosh in to demonize and isolate.

They use terrible logic to backup their faulty worldview and....

Really some of the language and behavior directed at him should be punished and several posters that are attacking him should be given a timeout from this subform.

It's valid point of discussion. The timing of it is disgusting. I used to think OP just like to troll and disappear. Dude is seriously mental. Whatever, he's satisfy his needs and so, yeap, time to just move on toward the discussion.

ISIS is and has been losing ground in that region. We have seen them acting more crazy because they are losing. If the attacks are indeed ISIS, they might be changing strategy, or just lashing out with suicides attacks. The first thing comes to mind is that whole region is against them and they can't win that battle. But if they are able to pull the West back into the fight, on the ground... we've seen that story.

Obama and the left told us in 2008 that we just needed to be willing to "talk with" countries like Syria and Iraq, Israel and Palestine, Iran and Russia.

And if we just had a president who was as transcendently brilliant, irrefutably persuasive and irresistibly charming as Barack H. Obama, then the whole world would be sure to love us and we would all live happily ever after.

LOL. Whatever happened to all of that?

I wonder if it's time "to push reset"? Kinda like how Hillary did so with Russia and transformed their relationship with the US into a great one.

Nothing could be more profound of a misunderstanding than the belief that taking a "tough attitude " means anything at all by itself.

That's just useless "Mission Accomplished " sign level/Benghazi meet the press talk - which is as placebo as it gets. It's Trump level analysis

The problem with pronouncements on the chaotic nature of politics and world event's is that there are no metrics for comparison. There is only one example of reality, there is nothing to qualitatively compare it to. To say something like "Obama is clueless" assumes some other choice would produce a better outcome, but it's not testable. It's not right or wrong, it's just nonsense.

The fact is there are so many variables involved in world politics, even down to the very individual level, like say the dude that decided to assassinate Archduke Ferdinand, any predictions of an action's outcome will be wrong in some detail. The best any statesman can do is sober, conservative management of crisis, the best any politician can do is keep the public from panic.

So tell us again what you think the non-clueless strategy should be and how you think it would work out in the real world.

Obama's goal is to persuade the public (and perhaps himself) that the threat does not exist, that it is not growing.

The scary thing is we have to endure that delusion for at least another fourteen months.

Fighting an ideology is like fighting a hydra. All that is needed to be a terrorist is a sick idea in the head and the willpower to act upon it. It's barely impossible to fight a conventional war against an ideology.

U.S. intervention in the Middle East only results in shaking the hornets nest. The only way to solve this is the Middle East policing it's own and the only way that is going to happen is Western powers holding Saudi responsible which means becoming independent from fossil fuels.

No, it's not. It's the same low just a different tragedy.
