I agree, Cheetah. Ask your friends at the WSJ. It's their list. There are a lot of people who aren't on it.
No way it will be Biden, the guy is a gaffe machine and too high risk. My guess is it will be Bayh, unless McCain picks a woman early on, then Obama might have to rethink things.
Edwards isn't on the list because he got caught leaving some hotel where the mother of his lovechild was staying. He's done.

I know Hagel and McCain go way back. But with Hagel being coy about being on Obama's VP list and with him going overseas with Obama, it no longer can go either way. He's chosen sides. It's a matter of time before he makes it "official". In fact, I think Hagel might find himself in Obama's cabinet should he win.
"I mean, you've got the first sort of mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that's a story-book, man," Biden said. "you cannot go to a 7-Eleven or a Dunkin' Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent." BYE BYE BIDEN
I still think Hagel has to be the favorite to be Sec Def. I don't think VP works because Obama would have some problems on the left (though I think it would be great).
It will snow in July in Houston before Obama chooses Hagel as VP. That's too big of a stretch. Sec. of Defense could work.
