while I mostly agree, i dont think @pgabriel was thinking broken family is single parent or if so, its resolved through dirty socialism given the statement dem should move closer to republican... was wanting to hear his suggestions, but maybe there are none

    One thing I want,

and this is constant on people questioning is this the real me is Democrats to say alot of these issues need to be addressed from within the community.

Education needs to be fixed at home. You can't just throw money at new schools.

There is only so much government can do

I haven't really changed on this

Family and personal responsibilities to yourselves and your children matters. I don’t think you find anyone that disagrees with that. But what does this means? What specifics are you suggesting to fix education at home? And is not having a good education what you meant by broken home?

What you have stated so far are just too vague and tbh, have little meanings and confusing when you jump from one topic (broken home) to another (education) without any explanation.

Ps dont know your past posting so I never questioned if you are who you claimed to be

The left hates how New York did it. Stop and frisk, broken windows policing, etc. They say the way New York did it was racist.
Sure it is. It won't work, but it is an answer.
No. Breaking the poverty cycle is only difficult if you think graduating from high school, not impregnating anyone or getting pregnant, and getting a full time job is difficult. Almost anyone can do those things, and if they do they will almost certainly not be in poverty (there are rare exceptions of course). Some people make poor life choices and that leads them down a bad path. Investment in communal structures (socialism) is throwing good money after bad. Instead of incentivising bad decisions, incentivise good ones. Pay people to get vasectomies/tubal ligations, for example.

yeah it was weird. I highlighted everything and changed the text font color to NONE and it still didn't work when i switched to the original layout.
I made it all some weird maroon/purple color... should work now both original and dark.

    switch to dark!! :)

Spoken like someone who has never known a single poor person his entire life.

For some people, these things are difficult. Namely those whose circumstances were created by such poor decisions that preceded them.

One doesn't have to be in poverty to be inclined to crime, either. But relative wealth is a surefire correlary.

Socialism is better schools to equip people with skills and knowledge to lead more productive lives. Socialism is programs and organizations that give people a sense of purpose, meaning, and community. Socialism is healthcare services that give people a fighting chance at overcoming the misfortune of chance. Socialism is a corrective and rehabilitation system that prevents a temporary mistake from becoming permanent failure.

This is not "incentivizing bad decisions". This is raising the living standard and preventing bad decisions from happening in the first place.

All this is great, it doesn't prevent bad decisions.

You have to be firm on personal responsibility. It doesn't mean don't provide healthcare.

It doesn't have to be an either/or

These are merely ought statements that have no means of being enforced in a form of a public policy.
