There's 13 months to go before the election. That's plenty of time to find a legit candidate, which is preferable to running out someone who (a) has some troublesome history, (b) may not be who he says he is, and (c) exemplifies Democrat/progressive hypocrisy (we condemn MAGA as Nazis and then nominate a guy with a Nazi tattoo). I've been harping about the Democrat's terrible messaging for almost as long as I've been a poster on this board (July 2000), but you don't throw all caution to the wind just because a guy says the right things in a campaign ad. A Senate seat is just too important for such risk taking.

I actually like Bernie (I feel the burn) and him and AOC going around and speaking to people is what I call grass roots, there talking directly to them in forums and town halls.
