    If there is a god, which I doubt, because if there was, he/she/it wouldn't subject everyone to this thread... anyway, if there is a god, he would make this thread vanish. Disappear. I don't know about everyone else, but this retired replicant killer just ain't rehashing this topic again. It's been done to death. Bush went to war claiming there were WMD's. There were not any. Want more information, OP? Do a search.

    Bush alone had control of the largest military and the best funded intelligence operation in the world for 2 1/2 years. If there was anyone who could have scrutinized the WMD intel before discarding of 4,000 GIs and half-a-trillion dollars, it was him.

He scrutinized the intelligence, found that it lacked the necessary evidence to go to war, then formed a group in the DoD who cooked up some "intelligence" based on lies from a source called "Curveball." Then, he and his administration engaged in a disinformation campaign that convinced the American people that the "intelligence" was more compelling than the actual intelligence.
