My post really isn't that prejudiced, I am a moderate who sides slightly more with the Dems because I am tired of the crap the Republicans and Bush are doing. The only post that is weak is yours buddy. All you did was call my post weak, which in turn makes yours weak because you don't actually say anything and result to attacking the poster and not the post. And then you try to sound smart by telling us what "lame duck" really means, YET the freaking dictionary pawned you. Then again I dont expect anything more from a stubborn republican. Hell look at Bush. You have no idea that the new laws "will screw this country up even more." This country needs change and it needs it quick. Plus I hardly doubt one could do any worse of a job than Bush has. Bush barely had a C average in college, while Obama aced through Harvard law. I'll take the guy who can walk and talk without making a fool of himself over the monkey in Bush. Don't even try and make the argument that Bush is smarter than Obama LOL. Mirriam-Webster is not "popular culture," they are one of the companies whose books contain the definitions of words. Since you were quibbling over the definition of the term "lame duck," their definition certainly bolsters the argument that you are full of it.

Unfortunately, what happened was that Bush LOWERED the standard so much that anyone even slightly better than a C average coke snorting draft dodger with a history of bankrupting businesses would qualify as "experienced" enough for the job. Bush lowered the bar so much that a turtle could get over it without much effort. At least you agree that Bush is the "depths" to which you think people will stoop. Bush is about as low as it gets. Not so far, but anything is possible. I believe that Obama will make a very good President if he is able to put into place even half of what he talks about. I certainly have hope that he will actually try to bridge the partisan divide that Bush and his cronies wedged open after campaigning as a "uniter, not a divider." The people with buyer's remorse right now certainly appear to be the ones who voted for Bush once (or twice) and are not part of the 28%. You are part of an even more exclusive group, the 23% that approve of Bush's handling of the economy. Even my mother, the biggest Bush bobblehead I could have imagined in 2004, has verbally eviscerated Bush in my presence. It just goes to show that, based on the statistics, you are out of touch with the mainstream and WAY out on the fringe.

i've been somewhat unconvinced by this whole thing- although i have no doubt whatsoever that MOB is capable of this type of rant, it seemed unlikely she'd be dumb enough to go off on camera, and even less likely that the obama camp was stupid enough to let it be found, if her remarks had indeed been taped. however, some supposed transcripts are now floating around the leftosphere, along with the supposed "why'd he" explanation. without examining the motives of the people posting the clarifying transcripts, if accurate, haven't they just confirmed the existence of the tape?
