Yea, I seem to recall us having EXACTLY this same conversation on this BBS but in reverse a while back. I don't remember the details but all the liberals were bashing the repubs for asking for money on some humanitarian thing. It probably was 9/11 related.

    Is it sleezy? Yes.

Have the Repubs been equally sleezy? Yes.

C'mon, repubs. Get off your high-horse. Afterall, wasn't Tom Delay's own PAC just indicted yesterday for soliciting illegal campaign contributions? Get over yourself and just admit politics in general is sleezy. It runs both ways, unfortunately. :(

At what point are you going to realize the way Katrina was handled is not a partisian issue? Governmental response, at all levels, just plain sucked. Period. Yes democrats are ceasing the moment, as would Repubs if it was turned around, but you are on a sinking ship if you are defending the Bush administration on this one. Its indefensible.

    LOL.

    1. Reality is I wasnt pointing out that it was Republicans recruiting in the astrodome, just asking if it was NOT a worse offense.

    2. Only a r****d would claim that these people are better off, which Barbie certainly is. These people with their, "three sqare meals a day and a cot with tens of thousands others" possibly saw death by drowning, lost their homes, or family members. "Shacks into beautiful homes" WTF, are you really that far out of touch? Yeah, its possible they are better off. Defending this incorigable comment is even more r****ded.

    3. The main point of my post was to point out that your Right winged, Pat Robertsons out there are touting a poll about blame, but are very quick to denounce the most meaninful of them all. 36-38 percent job approval for Dumbass.

Carry on, as reality passes you by.

I love it when people seem to add in how Barbara was saying how much better everyone was for seeing dead bodies and losing family members. I'm sure that's exactly what she was talking about

    Once again. Reality....................................................................Republicans

Its not that Barbie says it to mean they are better off because of seeing dead bodies.

Its the complete stupidity of not thinking before you talk. Or you can label it as ultra elitism.

Rather than contributing anything, its better to just berate others? I notice you didn't refute any of the points I was trying to make, however. Thanks for playing.

LOL - that's because you didn't make any points! You "seem to remember" somthing at sometime about someone. Not sure who, when or what, though. Classic.

Look at his entire Political posting repitoire.

He lacks ammo because his party of choice is in damnation, and rubble. So he goes along Swift Boating everything he possibly can.

This is why no one respects the democratic party. They don't stand for anything, have no guts, and no vision. There only course is to attack weakness and run away from strength.

With these two parties, it's no wonder people are sick of the political system - Short-sighted thinking and near incompetence on the Republican side and the left you have utter weakness and a complete lack of leadership.

    We desperately need some leaders.
