better late than never - at least he is publicly committing to following the will of the people, unlike the other democratic frontrunners. i have no intentions of voting for the guy, but at least he is committing to ending this war - in a choice of lesser of two evils that will go a long way for me.
All I can say is from here on out, Barack better watch his back and his knees. Clinton aides hint that now things'll get nasty While you were sleeping, the chartered jet of the third-place finisher in the Iowa Democratic caucus winged its way from Des Moines to Manchester, N.H. And it sounds like some decisions were made on that plane that may alter the course of that party's presidential race. http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/washington/2008/01/on-second-thoug.html
None other than John McCain said last night that he see's Huckabee's win over Romney as a backlash against negative campaigning. We can only hope it's a national trend...it's fairly obvious that 'swiftboat' tactics are a smokescreen of the perpatrator's own weakness. ( I was just waiting for McCain to call Romney an azzhole, you could tell he wanted to and within the requirements of the FCC and propriety, he did)
Too late to be credible. It was a statement made in desperation because of his flagging poll numbers. From my standpoint, I respect Obama and (ugh) Hillary for staking out a more responsible position on withdrawing from Iraq instead of throwing out red meat for the sake of the campaign. It's water under the bridge now because Edwards has no chance. RIP.
