Why? He minded the clock because he didn't want to speak anymore. I do remember Pence winning a debate by being polite.
I hate her too but at least she's pleasant to look at. Swallwell visually bothers me AND audibly bothers me.
I didn't want to address that elephant in the room... but I thought Bernie and Joe's age was a problem for them tonight in terms of performance. Especially Joe.
Bernie's age didn't stand out to me as much as his stubborn ass defiance and arrogance. It just looks worse as an old man doing it. Biden genuinely doesn't seem to be moving at 75% speed anymore. Buttigieg is the most logical, educated of all the candidates and does well with every answer. BUT he's gay and he can't win his nomination.
Bernie is no good at giving a good sound bite that encompasses what he stands for. How are you going to yell out "NOTHING WILL CHANGE!" totally wrong emphasis.
Pete is also very young, and looks it. He really needs some state or maybe federal government experience and another 8-12 years.
Bernie is a step slower, Biden is several steps slower. Bernie's cheerleading and firebreathing is getting a little tired. I thought Pete B really did well and I can absolutely see him destroying Trump in a debate.
Ugh Biden. Ugh. Every answer is bullet pointed "first, secondly, third, blah blah blah" He's also tripping me out by squinting and staring forward. Then when he finishes he leans forward and just stares. He's old.
Probably not, but that demo may not decide things this go-round. Right now I don't think there's any candidate that really looks like a lock on that demo. In a field this wide, he doesn't have to run faster than the bear... just faster than the other people getting chased by the bear... if you know what I mean.
