Yep, they just have a muted Al Gore while O'Reilly talks to Rove.

Yea but the question was about a skills competition, not who is the better player. Utah's system masked his inabilities - he never had to dribble the ball; he was always either moving without, spotting up, or in the post. They are both walking turnovers and collectively have some of the worst handles/passing/IQ of any NBA guards I've ever seen.

Al Gore has gained weight it seems.

Ironically - the DNC is far more compelling TV right now than the RNC will be - that's a big advantage for Obama.

Reports show a high interest in the DNC not just from dem, but independents and suprisingly republicans.

There are so many stories and undercurrents - especially with the Clintons, Michelle Obama, the VP slot, and Obama's big speech. It will be hard for the republicans to match the level of drama and emotion. Very hard. And I have to credit the dems, they orchestrated this convention perfectly. A lot of emotion, and just very well planned out. And it unfolded beautifully - the highlight being Bill Clinton thus far....each night has topped the previous night.

Monday was a bit weak, but Michelle Obama gave a great speech, Tuesday was emotional with Hillary, but wow - last night had to really be powerful - I was very surprised at how sharp the message and well it was communicated. Very persuasive. Very emotional....and the press is eating it up. Obama has been so heavily criticizeds and second guessed the past few months, but the media is near complete agreement.

This is dangerous for McCain - because there's a bit of a "so-what" factor to his convention. What new attacks can he lay out? What emotional strings? What drama might there be? What's there to watch?

This is the problem with Obama getting to go first and Making this election about Obama - it puts the ball totally in his court. He can hit a massive winner tonight - it's all up to him. People are going to be watching.

If he hits the mark - invocative yet substantive on policies - he may make the RNC moot. Not because the Republcians can't make a strong case, but a lot of the undecideds might make up their mind and not tune into the RNC. Giving Obama momentum heading into the debates.

The Clintons seem to be onboard with Obama and vice versa - he needs them. They must have struck some sort of deal about what Hillary will be doing - I suspect she's still be the 2nd most influential democrat - and will get to work with Obama to pass major legislation. I don't think an appointment to the SC will happen for her - Republicans will fillabuster that and she'd never get approved.

CNN just said there could be more than 90,000 people in the stadium tonight. wow, that must be historic.

obama better win colorado tonight b/c this has been a huge effort to win this state, which usually goes republican.

they're not. the reason they might have better ratings is b/c they have so many biased anchors that viewers will tune in to watch. i mean, watching bill o'reilly is my daily source of comedy.

Bush Sr. had his 2 conventions at the Superdome and the Astrodome but I can't find any numbers reflecting how many people attended them.

Dear Democrats - every time you try to compare Obama to Abe Lincoln, he rolls over in his grave. Please stop

    TIA

That's not really surprising seeing how much the Republicans talk about him.
