Have you been listening to the campaign? All you did here was google Hillary Clinton + religion. Those articles you link are people talking about Clinton's religion, not her "spouting off" about it.

That first article you linked says :

Only one of those articles you linked quoted Hillary Clinton talking about her own religion, and this is what she said...

    From the first article...

wow...I wasn't trying to start an argument or a fight. it just seemed to me that they have been talking quite a bit about faith.

not necessarily...but that's been the buzzword used by the media to describe a lot of this.

am i the only one reading all these things?? seeing the cover of Time and/or Newsweek hitting on all this a while back?? that the Democratic candidates are talking far more about their faiths than they have in the recent past.

Jimmy Carter is a believer. I'm convinced of that. I THINK John Edwards is, as well.

No you aren't. I've read the articles as well. I think it was Hillary who said she was a strong believer but didn't think it was appropriate to discuss it in politics.

the articles i posted weren't meant to prove a point...they're just commentary. the point is the concept of faith is something that seems to be attaching itself to the dem candidates. i don't think that's an accident.

frankly, i see it as refreshing because i can't stand the notion that Republic=Christian....or that Democrat=Christian.

Okay, but I just thought the "spouting off" was a bit much. I also think the notion that she is "pretending" to be something was off, as well. Especially when you read the articles you posted.

I don't remember her talking about this in great detail...

wait..i think you misunderstood me. ...i never said Hillary was pretending. i truly don't know. it would not surprise me at all to learn she's a person of faith.

BWA HA HA HA HA HA

Hillary a person of faith? WOW. She's got the mouth of a sailor and all she does is idolize power. Hillary might claim to have faith simply because it wins her votes. She'll say or do anything for power. The only connection she has with religion is that she is likely Satan's girlfriend.

you know what, I don't think they said nothing because they know nothing. Politicians especially during campaign season or debate, they all avoid questions about faith for there is no perfect answer for all ears. Remember the first debate when they were all asked about whether prayers can stop all horrific events like 911 etc?? Clinton answered by saying that she doesn't want to second guess the wisdon of God... and some of them agreed with her.

Happy is the person who finds fault with himself instead of finding fault with others. - Islam. Hadith

Confucius said, "The gentleman calls attention to the good points in others; he does not call attention to their defects. The small man does just the reverse of this." - Confucianism. Analects 12.16

He who sees others' faults is ever irritable--his corruptions grow. He is far from the destruction of the corruptions. --Buddhism. Dhammapada 252-53

Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment that you pronounce you will be judged, and the measure you give will be the measure you get. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, "Let me take the speck out of your eye," when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye. -- Matthew 7.1-5

Sounds like the typical religious leaders and clergy to me.

Of course it isn't meant to be taken literally. It is meant to encompass all those involved in production or distribution of dairy-related products.
