Yes, that's the target group, these people are not Trump base, this will show how much the educated middle class dislike Trump, a precursor to the 2018 election.

Trump is only 71 and the issue with him would be more about minimum qualifications. For other older legislators, like McCain, who seems to be showing his age, he should retire or the voters should elect somebody else.

Otherwise, I'm not completely against term limits just where the timeframe for term limits are set: 1 term? 2? 3? 4?

I would be on the side of permitting longer serving limits rather than "one and done" advocates.

Trump isn't a legislator and has term limits. You seem to be confused on the subject?

Anything between the extremes is fine for me. Unlimited and one term both seem on the extreme side. McCain has been in the senate for 30 years? Stupid.

Term limits make sense for both legislative and judicial branch to avoid life or defacto life time positions, but it's not close to any solution to improve government. Need to reverse money as speech and maybe require all candidates to work from a fix set of pool $ split eventually among candidates. Detail can be worked out, but need to get $$$ out of politic. Need to also stop the gerrymandering non-sense.

You can regulate the HELL out of them though, and not allow congressman to immediately cash in as lobbyists.

    Clinton outspent Trump.
    Clinton lost to Trump.

I guess money is not everything - at least as far as political campaigns go.

No shame, someone could no doubt buy my vote for half that in cash.

This will be interesting, both sides have an angle here - but anyone still supporting Trump is not an American anyway...so....

America needs a House of Lords. Let all of the rich, influential, lifetimers sit there. Define and limit they're power, and make them play by a set rules that applies solely to them.

Let it be the "middle" chamber of congress.

    From the Hill:

    Flash flood warnings complicate turnout

    4:25 p.m. (EST)

The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning that will impact some of the largely Democratic portions of the Georgia congressional district.

That flood warning largely cuts across the southern part of the district in DeKalb County, a Democratic stronghold that's key to Ossoff's path to victory. It also includes parts of Fulton and Cobb Counties, which are more Republican, but appears to be affect the Democratic areas most heavily.

The warning, issued at 1:11 p.m., will last through 7:15 p.m., just after the vast majority of polls close.

It's unclear how this will effect the turnout, but it can't be a welcome development for the Ossoff camp.

Yeah, so sad that he lives two whole miles away so that he can support his fiance who's attending medical school and that's why they live there. Of course, Ossoff grew up in that district.

What a disgrace that he would dare to live with his fiance within walking distance of her medical school.

Rob Quist was a horrible candidate with a decades long history of not paying his taxes and his debts.

All the money in the world couldn't hide those facts but definitely could highlight them. Lets face it....Gianforte didn't win because he was a great candidate. He won because Dems were stupid enough to put forward a disaster like Quist. (sound similar to the General Election?)

A good start towards Democrats winning elections is to first find candidates who don't suck.
