Not surprised. He's a player I predicted would be gone this season. Wonder what we got for him and what kind of cap room it gives us.
Good luck DeMeco. Hope it works out in Philly and that you regain your form back in the 4-3. Your first 4 1/2 years here were awesome. Texans all time leader in tackles.
I'm hoping that it's for at least a third rounder....otherwise I would have rather kept him. He's the leader of this defense.
But wouldnt it be nice if we got a 2! Eagles have 2 second round picks this year. Hey I can dream right!
Well, well.... Maybe not the player he once was but was one of my favorites. He'll be missed. A true class act and professional. Wishing him all the best in Philly.

Yeah, but we drafted him with a #2 and he didn't seem to be the same player post-achilles, though I guess some of that could be attributed to playing in the 3-4. I'd be happy with a 3rd rounder.
Hopefully the pick and cap room allow us to really upgrade some holes that we have... idk though, there was a point in the season where Demeco looked horrible in terms of his movement and even tackling
I'd classify a mid rounder as a 3rd, 4th, or 5th. Late rounder = 6th or 7th. Early rounder = 1st or 2nd.
I would have been ok if this was for one of their big 3 at CB. but a mid draft pick?! I'm convinced at what's happening. Step 1: make playoffs Step 2: cut cost in offseason to increase profit margin next year while hype is strong
